LA VIA SILENTE

This is a beautiful path, just under 600 km and divided into 15 stages, that crosses the entire Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park. On this Silent Way you can hike and bike to enjoy time, calling on all your senses to appreciate your surroundings and discover that Silence is not about the absence of sound but the quality of listening. Without ever forgetting the rough terrain of an area where Nature has always been the master.

CASTELLO DI ROCCA CILENTO

The Castle of Rocca Cilento is a medieval fortress with towers and moat overlooking the Alento valley. A unique spectacle, where the work of man blends perfectly with nature. Most probably the castle was built at the end of the 9th century, during the castle-building period against the Saracen invasions. The owners of the castle included the Sanseverino family, from the 11th century to 1552, followed by other owners who each left their mark on it.
